A finished AML return pack, for a practice that does not exist.
Harwood & Lane Accountants Ltd is a fictitious ACCA-supervised practice of five people in Leicester. Below are the seven documents the AML return pack writes from the answers to its interview, one in full and six as excerpts, and the ACCA return sheet filled in from the same answers. Every page of every PDF carries a SAMPLE mark.
This sample shows the ratified wording; your own documents are written from your answers.
Every detail about the practice is invented: its name, the three people named in it, the ACCA firm number DEMO-0147, the address and the telephone numbers (the ones Ofcom reserves for drama). The regulations, guidance and dates the documents cite are real. The sample was generated on 3 November 2026.
The seven documents
One is shown in full: the return preparation checklist. The other six are excerpts: the title block, one worked section (the risk assessment shows how it rates the risk from clients; the others show their first section) and the headings of everything else, so you can see how each one is set out. Your own documents are written in full, from your answers. The first two are the documents ACCA’s return asks a firm to upload.
-
Firm-wide risk assessment
The firm-wide risk assessment, with its own section for proliferation financing. One of the two documents ACCA’s return asks a firm to upload.
-
AML policies, controls and procedures
The AML policies, controls and procedures. The other document ACCA’s return asks a firm to upload.
-
Internal suspicious-activity report form and register
The form a member of staff uses to report a suspicion to the MLRO, and the register of those reports.
-
Ongoing-monitoring checklist
A checklist for the ongoing monitoring of each client.
-
MLRO review worksheet
A worksheet for the MLRO’s periodic review of the practice’s AML systems and controls.
-
Training register
A register of the AML training the practice’s people have had.
-
Return preparation checklist
ACCA’s return, question by question: which answer each one needs, where the pack gets it, and what is still to do.
7 PDFs, 1.0 MB in all.
The ACCA return sheet
ACCA’s 2026/27 return, question by question in the form’s order, with the practice’s answer in the form’s band: 54 rows for this practice. In the product each answer has a Copy button, and you file the return yourself.
See it on your own practice.
The interview is free. The approved PDF pack is £149 + VAT a year, bought on its own.
